CYMETRIS AI and MCP Integration Now Generally Available

After an iterative finalization phase that incorporated early user feedback and extensive internal testing, CYMETRIS AI and MCP integration is now in full production and available to all users, including those exploring the platform through a demo account. LEARN MORE↗

The integration connects CYMETRIS to any MCP-compatible AI assistant via a remote MCP server, authenticated through OAuth with no API keys or manual configuration required. Once connected, engineers can work through TARA steps in natural language, from architecture and asset definition through threat modeling, attack graph construction, damage scenario rating, and risk treatment, without context-switching between tools.

The impact on TARA efficiency is tangible. Structuring and populating a complete analysis, a process that conventionally demands significant manual effort across multiple workflow stages, can now be accelerated substantially: the AI operates with full awareness of project parameters, cybersecurity properties, and feasibility configurations from the start, and follows a structured process guide that enforces the correct sequencing of TARA creation, extension, and review.

A key distinction in how CYMETRIS applies AI here: the integration is not limited to assisted review of existing content. Depending on the level of involvement an engineer chooses, the AI can actively build model items, construct threat scenarios, and generate the analytical content of the TARA itself. Engineers who prefer full manual control retain it entirely. The depth of AI involvement is always the engineer’s decision, and full traceability is preserved throughout.

For anyone who wants to explore the integration before connecting their own environment, the CYMETRIS AI and MCP platform page features interactive guided tours that walk through the core AI-assisted TARA functions step by step, illustrating how the integration supports each phase of the analysis in practice.

The integration is available now. Demo account users have full access to test the features against sample project data.
