We’ve been busy over the holidays! Our latest release includes a public API interface with secure API key support now implemented. For all integration inquiries, please contact us directly at partner@cymetris.com
With the release of the Public API (v1.0), CYMETRIS is strategically opening its platform for integration into existing development, engineering, and governance tool landscapes. The goal is to establish cyber risk analysis and TARA not as an isolated discipline, but as a connected element within real product development processes – across organizations, projects, and system boundaries.
The new API creates the technical foundation to integrate CYMETRIS into external systems such as requirements management tools, architecture and modeling tools, PLM environments, ticketing and ALM systems, or reporting pipelines. In practice, this means: risks, assumptions, attack paths, and measures can be automatically exchanged, synchronized, or processed further – instead of being manually copied or requiring redundant data maintenance. This makes TARA compatible with established engineering artifacts and decision processes.
At the same time, the Public API forms the basis for partner and integration models: technology and consulting partners can purposefully embed CYMETRIS into their own toolchains, methods, or services – for example, for OEM-supplier interfaces, vertical TARA cascades, or cross-organizational cyber risk workflows. In theory, this opens up scenarios like automated impact analyses when architectures change, consistent risk reporting across multiple programs, or linking TARA results with V&V, incident, or compliance systems.
With the Public API, CYMETRIS takes a decisive step from specialized analysis tool toward an integration-capable cyber risk platform that flexibly fits into existing development realities and makes scaling practically feasible. Please direct all integration inquiries to partner@cymetris.com
